Prophetic Painting Workshop

CCN News • Feb, 2019
The CCN Wolverhampton branch hosted a Prophetic Painting Workshop facilitated by Oliver Pengilley. Ten local creatives braved the cold February afternoon to glean from Oliver’s experience working in prophetic art. Although the gallery was cold, the atmosphere was was not and people enjoyed each others company whilst experimenting with the paint and exploring the prophetic.
During the two hour workshop, attendees were coached by Oliver who encouraged them to paint what they felt God was showing them. Everyone produced a canvas painting to take home.
Oliver Pengilley has been a professional artist for over fifteen years, working in various locations in the UK, including Bath, Bristol and London.
Starting out as a wildlife artist, he displayed work in London alongside other wildlife artists such as Robbert Bateman and David Shepherd. Although this was enjoyable, Oliver wanted to express more of his own heart and walk with the Lord in his paintings. His relationship with Jesus grew so do did his ability to paint what he saw spiritually. This became his form of worship.
Over the last ten years Oliver has been asked to share his knowledge on painting prophetically during worship in various countries, including many parts of USA, Canada, Germany, and the UK. Helping others to express their hearts and thoughts through painting.
