Interactive Installation

CCN News • Oct, 2017

Earlier this month, the Wolverhampton branch organised its first interactive public display, the ‘Testimony Tree’. Created by CCN member, Simon Stones, as a response to a themed creative challenge, “Growing In Faith”. This themed challenge was set as part of one of the branches monthly meets. The Testimony Tree was on display for two weeks at the LifeSpring Centre.
How does it work?
The onlooker is invited to take a green tag (leaf) and write on one side what they have asked God for and then on the reverse, to write how God provided. They then hang the tag on the tree for people to read and be encouraged. The tree goes from looking bare to being full with testimonies of provision which, in turn, causes people to grow in their faith when they read the tags.
