First impressions are important and we want to help you present the best you. Whether on your creative social media, website, business card, exhibition bio or marketing, you can have the portrait from this workshop at the fraction of the cost of booking an individual photo shoot.
Maresa is the official photographer for Big Church Day Out, ran a successful wedding photography business, supplies images to Death To Stock (online stock imagery), worked in prestigious London photography studios and happens to be a member of CCN Wolverhampton.
The format for the evening will be networking as normal, with refreshments and those who have booked in to have a headshot will be called for their 10-minute slot as and when.
The £20 includes an 8-10 minute photo shoot and you will receive one high-resolution portrait on a light and/or dark background. Extra images are available at £10 each.
Info: Please bring an appropriate top, Knitwear works really well for a soft approachable look (Bring a variety of tops if you plan on having more than one image). Avoid stripes or anything with too much contrast as it can distract from your face.
Please make sure you feel comfortable by not overdoing makeup. Tidy edges are useful, for example, a natural lipstick helps tidy up a lip line, but do not feel you have to do anything different.
Once you’ve purchased your ticket you will be sent a time slot. You will need to arrive at least 10 minutes before your allocated time. If you know in advance that you will struggle to make the earlier slots please let us know. You will be told your allocated time slot prior to the evening. A Drop Box link containing a contact sheet of the shoot will be emailed to you after the workshop at the earliest possible convenience. You can then select the image(s) you want.
You will receive a digital version of your chosen image(s) as a high resolution, lightly processed, jpeg file.
Tickets are nonrefundable but should you not be able to make it on the night you can pass your ticket onto someone else within the network, just let the branch leader know.
We are planning to do a few more Headshot Workshops later in the years so if you can’t do this one keep your eye out for more.
